Homestead Cruelty Bust!

November, 2014

No Paw is thrilled that this individual is being charged and that the dogs were removed from his residence. This is truly the most prolific cruelty case we have seen in South Florida. Thank you to everyone who reported this individual and to MDPD for making the arrest. It is critical that these cases be reported to the proper authorities.

If you see abuse and need advice on how to report, please contact us we are happy to help.

High School Graduate with 4000+ Volunteer Hours: No Paw Left Behind Honors Graduate’s Work Saving Pets from Death

July, 2013

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

High School Graduate with 4000+ Volunteer Hours: No Paw Left Behind Honors Graduate’s Work Saving Pets from Death

(July 15, 2013) — Frankie and his sister made it to an emergency vet just hours after being picked up by Miami Dade Animal Services... His sister died on the table during the exam. This is just one of hundreds of cases that would bring most adults to their knees, but one South Florida teen continues to demonstrate the strength needed to save precious little lives like Frankie's.

For the second year in a row, a No Paw Left Behind volunteer has shattered high school volunteer service hours and gone on to a pre-veterinary program. This year Amanda Grimme has graduated with over 4600 volunteer hours in the areas of fostering, adoptions, event, public outreach about responsible ownership and fundraising. No Paw Left Behind is honoring her upcoming departure from South Florida, as she will be going into a prestigious university this fall, by offering special adoption rates and promotions. From July 15 to July 31, all dog adoptions will be lowered to $100 adoption donation and will include a one year supply of heart worm preventative; cat and kitten adoptions will be lowered to $25.

A special little rescue puppy merits special attention, as Amanda has worked tirelessly to fundraise for his recovery and medical care. The before and after demonstrate the resilience of rescue puppies in dire need, and the amazing recovery possible when such committed volunteers get involved.
