MORE INFORMATION COMING SOON, PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON
Humane Cohabitation
Safety First! Your own safety first, then the safety of the animal
ALL animals can bite, most will ONLY bite when provoked
Each animal is an individual, be prepared for the unexpected
Remember: All creatures just want to:
Live, eat, procreate, Not be eaten and exist in peace
A little understanding can avoid dangerous situations
Check Your Surrounding
Look for possible hazards, escape routes, avoid cornering/threatening
Animal Encounters
Domestic: Dogs, Cats, Small Pets, Farm Animals- Secure them at HOME
Wild: Trapped, Disoriented, Injured- If they are ok set them FREE
Avoid Stress
Stay calm, it helps the animals and it helps you remain safe and focused
Animals are more likely to be reactive when under stress, just like we are
NEVER force an animal, guide them, gently lead them
Rules of the Wild Side
Rule #1 – Teenagers Make BAD Decisions
Rule #2 – Hell Hath No Fury Like A Mother…
Rule #3 – Motivation Is To NOT Be Eaten
Rule #4 – They Do Not Know We Are There To Help
Breathe
The best preparation for dealing with an animal is distress is a deep breath
THANK YOU for taking the time to learn about our local and domestic animals that may need you in a disaster. A lot of this information will be loaded to my website in the near future, www.NoPawLeftBehind.org and do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
